Diamond Gem Studio is a full
featured recording studio with
digital (Tascam), and analog 24 track
tape recorders. The facility also features computer automated console
and effects.They can take your project FROM IDEA TO STORE SHELF. Editing
and mastering is done on the World standard, Mac based
Pro Tools
system.
The owner JIMM DAVIS and I have been good friends since I moved
to Houston over 25 years ago . Besides his recording skills
Jimm is
also a great drummer.We work together in many bands and have our own
band [with bass player Rusty Curtis]called
THE DAWGHAS CATS.
The 3 of us also worked with C. Lynne Garcia
and the Rhythm Ranch
in October 1996. She did her original demo tapes at Jimm's, and took
them to Nashville,Tennessee to land a Record deal with
Rival Records.
She has a great voice, a bubbly personality and a stage charisma that
comes across on tape. Her album "ORDINARY PEOPLE" has gotten rave
reviews across America and has shot skyward in merry old England.
When her career really began to take off, she needed a band
that had experience playing the big shows. Her management hired
Don
Hutchko on Guitar; Rusty Curtis
on Bass; and Jimm Davis
on Drums. Rodgers Cochran on Fiddle,Steve Forrest on Keys
and Ken Hemby on Guitar rounds out the band for Lynne.
C. Lynne and the band has been the opening act for such
artist as........Willie Nelson, Tracy Byrd, Emilio, the Belamy Brothers,
the Ace in the Hole Band (George Strait) and more.................
